With a view to the highest quality, all production phases have been entrusted to the best machinery that recent technologies can guarantee and OMCE plastic drums highlight innovative solutions, thanks to a meticulous global project.
Plastic Drums
Omce HDPE HMW partially open drums have a nominal capacity of 220 liters and a brim capacity of 227.6. They are produced by extrusion / blow molding using high quality raw materials and equipped with two 2 ”openings with internal thread closed with capsulable seal caps. They are equipped with a reinforcement ring for easier handling by mechanical lifting means. The barrel is made up of a double layer. The inner layer is of polyethylene with a natural white-transparent color, while the outer one is of blue polyethylene. The absence of pigments in the plastic material in direct contact with the product contained in the drum further reduces any risk of contamination.
The dimensions of the drum allow optimal use of space in 20 ‘ISO containers (80 pieces). The drums produced by OMCE can be used for chemical, petroleum, food and special products. The drum can be packed on pallets at 12 with film, or with cap at 4, or on special pallets based on the customer’s needs.
The approval allows the transport of dangerous goods in accordance with current regulations (ADR-RID-IMO-IMDG-IATA-ICAO).
CYLINDRICAL STEEL DRUMS
The steel used for these drums complies with the UNI EN 10130 standard. All the drums with partial or total opening produced by OMCE S.p.A. They are approved for road (ADR), rail (RID), naval (IMDG-CODE IMO) and air (ICAO) transport of dangerous goods.
The thickness of the steel is adaptable to the customer’s needs and further customizations are possible for both internal and external coatings. Raw interior.
Cylindrical Stem with Fixed Lid
The partial opening steel drums with a minimum capacity of 216.5 liters produced by OMCE S.p.A. Comply with the EN ISO 15750-2 EN210 standard. The steel used for these drums complies with the UNI EN 10130 standard.
Customers can choose the thickness of the steel that best suits their needs and request further customizations with regard to internal and external coatings.
Cylindrical Drum With Movable Cover
The total opening steel drums with a minimum capacity of 210 liters produced by OMCE S.p.A. Comply with the EN ISO 15750-1 EN209 standard. The steel used for these drums complies with the UNI EN 10130 standard. Customers can choose the thickness of the steel that best suits their needs and request further customizations with regard to internal and external coatings.
In particular, the various total opening models available can be grouped into two macro families: the NORMAL and the ISOCONTAINER drum. The latter differs from the normal drum essentially in that it is tapered at the top in order to optimize and facilitate the loading of the container, in this way in fact the ring is in line with the diameter of the body and does not hit the ring of the Adjacent stem.
CONICAL DRUMS
The truncated conical drums represent a type of packaging initially very widespread in the food sector, but with the achievement of some homologations for transport: road (ADR), rail (RID), naval (IMDG-CODE IMO) and air (ICAO) , including dangerous goods UN1A2 / X, their presence is increasing even in the chemical and oil sectors.
Particularly appreciable is the characteristic of being able to be stored empty, stacked one in the other, in small warehouse spaces. The steel, which complies with the UNI EN 10130 standard, is available in different thicknesses, adapting to the needs of customers also through further customizations such as: type of lid, external painting, screen printing, etc. Painted interior.
OMCE IBCs have been tested according to DIN EN 61340-2-3, EN 13463-1 and CENELEC TR 50404 by EPH Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH – Dresden and are now EX certified for normal use in zones 1 and 2 With liquids of explosion group IIA and IIA / IIB.
IBC
KBIN is able to contain any type of liquid substance. It targets both the chemical products market and the food product market. It is made with the most modern plant technologies: the skins, in high density and high molecular weight polyethylene, is obtained by extrusion blow molding; The cage, in galvanized steel, is assembled using a computerized electro-welding system. Each individual component is tested and the assembly is constantly monitored using the most advanced control systems.
The numerous accessories, the perfect modularity, the compatibility with European standards, the approvals for the transport of dangerous goods make KBIN the suitable container for every type of need.
